- What type of vessel does EVRsafe suit?
The ISS 1040 suits all types of vessels; power, sail and of any size.
Power or sail boats fitted with petrol or diesel engines, gen sets, gas cooking or moored along side other vessels operating engines or equipment. You and your family's minds would be set at ease knowing the integrated safety system on board would alert you to toxic gases being present.
- Where are the sensors fitted?
Sensors are fitted flush mounted with in the hull design; they also can be mounted on a mounting bracket to suit your requirements.
- How many sensors are able to be fitted?
EVRsafe 1040 can have up to 130 sensors connected. The length of cable run and current draw each 10 sensor configuration, should be considered when determining the number of sensors. Please see your service provider for specific details.
- I don't have a standard boat, can I customize my installation with the ISS 1040?
Yes, you can customise your own vessel with the ISS 1040 by the use of our software and download cable.
- Which languages does EVRsafe ISS1040 support?
The languages that the ISS 1040 currently support are English, French, Italian, German and Greek. If you require another language, please contact the EVRsafe office.
- Do the sensors require calibration or testing?
Yes, every two years the sensors are required to be tested and calibrated by your Authorised service provider.
- Is there a technical support line for questions?
Yes, our support is available from 9am to 5pm Monday through to Saturday (Australian Central Standard Time) on 1300EVRsaf.
- What is the warranty period for EVRsafe products?
EVRsafe Marine Technologies offer a one-year, unconditional warranty that covers manufacturers defects.
- Is the ISS1040 complex to install?
The EVRsafe 1040 requires a 51mm diameter hole saw for sensor housing, and cat 5 communication cables between sensors and the central processing unit (CPU). A 12 volt power supply is required.
